[Top 5 Wednesdays] #5 - Anime That Monster Strike Will Never Collab With

Hey Strikers! It is time for a new Top 5!

This week I'll be counting down Anime Collaborations! Monster Strike has done a few Collabs before with Anime like Saint Seiya, Evagelion and Parasyte, well the only 3 they have done. However this time we are counting down the ones that they will NEVER COLLAB WITH. Not because it has been confirmed or anything but it will be stupid of them to do.

Note that I am not the biggest Anime fan out there so the list will probably be about ones that I sort of know or have watched. So bye bye to any Shoujo and new anime out there! Also Pokemon will not be in the list because it is pretty obvious that that will never happen. Finally I won't include Anime based off of Games like Idolmaster, Puzzles and Dragons, and Divine Gate.

#5 - Initial D

Starting off the list is Initial D.

The only thing that really make this Collaboration hard to work with is the "monsters". The main focus on Initial D is the cars themselves and having cars in Monster Strike looks really off. Having a car ball in the game is something that Monster Strike will do as a joke character like Onigiri Expie.

#4 - Naruto

#4 is one of the long lasting Anime that is running today, Naruto. It gets to be on the list because everything comes to an end and this is where the Anime is. The manga ended months ago and we are counting the number of days until the Anime finally ends (damn you fillers).

The main reason is that Collaboration has some promotion attachment or commemoration with it. Saint Seiya celebrated 30 years and Evagelion also celebrated 30 years when it first came to Monster Strike. Chances are Monster Strike will not last for another 10 or 15 years to have a big commemoration for Naruto.

#3 - Sailor Moon

#3 is Sailor Moon. It is a very old Anime so something like a commemoration could be possible.

The fanbase for Sailor Moon is mainly females which contradicts with Monster Strike's main players. Although MS can do this Collaboration to get a female following but I doubt it will be a great success.

#2 - Dragon Ball

Next on the list is a very obvious one in my opinion, Dragon Ball.

Dragon Ball did collab with Puzzles and Dragons which makes a collaboration somewhat likely just like how Evagelion was in both games. However, after their collaboration with PAD, Dragon Ball's mobile game, DBZ: Dokkan Battle, blew up in popularity. They are comfortably sitting in the top 10 in Japan and has a big following in NA. Chances are Monster Strike will not collab with some other game/anime that is a threat to them in the app charts.

#1 - Kinnikuman

Who remembers this anime from the 80s and 90s?

The major reason why this specific anime will never collab with Monster Strike is because there is a app game for the Anime. Plus, the game play is a ripoff of Monster Strike!

Looks similar lol? That alone makes this oldie at the top of the list!

Honorable Mentions

One Piece, Digimon, and Gundam
These three have the same reason. The publisher of Dokkan Battle is the same as these three franchises, Bandai. Most likely Bandai will not want to collab with other top games. Dokkan gets to be on the list because it is the most popular out of the 4 in terms of revenue for their app games.

Yokai Watch 
One of the big reasons why I don't think this will happen is that there are TOO MANY Yokais to choose from. However this does not get to be on the list because a NDS Yokai Watch x Monster Strike game might be possibility.
