Lets run over the monsters and dungeons!
Ruby
Recommended Form - Evolution
Besides having one more Null ability than Ascension, the Evolution form is easier to use. Ascension has a Blast-type Tag Laser XL which is very powerful. However, Tag Lasers are very hard to position and to get damage off with.
Pros
The power of the Evolution is her double Null abilities. She is both Mine Sweeper and Null Warp. Although there is another Fire Mine Sweeper and Null Warp in terms of Zhang Fei, Ruby is a Pierce monster which can differentiate the two. Her SS can also deal a lot of damage. It can stack up to x119.7 her ATK (1.33 from Element + x3 from Weak Point + x4 from SS Multiplier + x7.5 from Critical Luck Skill).
Cons
The biggest con for Ruby is her overall damage. Her bump combo doesn't do a lot and her SS requires a lot of luck and positioning to hit full power.
Dungeons
The main use for Ruby is Kushinada: Zero. She deals with both hazards and she is a Pierce type to deal with the Obstructors. The best part is that she can one-shot the Obstructors which some monsters like Smopol and Rose struggle with.
In terms of Extreme dungeons, she is useful in Tokugawa Yoshinobu, Zhang Jiao, Drillmax and Jiraiya.
Ableberries
The best Ableberries are ones that buff up her SS. Therefore Kinstrength or Kinspeed are really good ones for her. Since she is a Pierce monster, Knockout synergies well with Ruby.
Conclusion
Ruby is the best overall monster in this hatcher. She has two null abilities which makes her useable in a variety of dungeons, especially Kushinada: Zero. However she is never a top tier pick outside of Kushinada: Zero.
Emerald
Evolution: http://strikeshot.net/monster/1692
Ascension: http://strikeshot.net/monster/1693
Recommended Form - Evolution
Although Ascension has three Null abilities, she doesn't do any damage with her Flame bump and Bash SS. Evolution has a Fiend Slayer L which makes her useful in bosses that are Fiend. She also have a Mine Sweeper so she can Null one hazard.
Pros
Of course the pro of Emerald is the Fiend Slayer L. Also, her Slayer is in the base ability so her Lock-on Piercewave will deal x2.5 more damage to Fiend bosses.
Cons
Sadly, Evolution Emerald only has one Null ability. Also a lot of Fiend dungeons don't main Mines so she might get replaced with monsters that just Null the hazard.
Dungeons
Emerald's main use is in the Tower. She is used in 22F since Bahamut X is a Fiend. She can also be used in 32F which has Mines as the main hazard and a Fiend boss (Bishamonten).
There are some Fiend dungeons that barely have any hazards like Origa, Origin and Sylvasaurus which you can use her Slayer for.
Ableberries
If you want to use her in the Tower, give her a Survivor. It is needed for the 22F since it will mitigate a lot of the Homing damage from Bahamut X.
You can also give her a Kinstrength to deal more damage to Fiend monsters.
Conclusion
Emerald is a really strong monster for the Tower. She can help you in some of the more tougher and monster-restricted floors. Outside of that, you won'be using her that much since there are higher damaging monsters in the Extreme dungeons with Fiend bosses.
Diamond
Recommended Form - Ascension
Both forms have damage and supportive capabilities. However, the Ascension has one more Null than the Evolution. Also the Ascension has better consistent damage through his bump combo.
Pros
Diamond has a relatively powerful bump combo in his Cross Laser XL. It deals consistent damage to enemies. Diamond also have two Null abilities which gives him versatility.
Cons
The biggest knock on Diamond is his SS. Although it is great in helping your allies, the SS itself doesn't do damage. Players will rather bring another monster that deals a lot of SS damage than use Diamond's support SS.
Dungeons
The best Impossible for Diamond is Izanagi since he nulls both hazards. He can be used in various Extremes including Da Vinci, Dong Zhao, Visceron, Yeti and Vanilla.
You can bring him to 34F of the Tower of Champions since his SS can help Lucy and Daikoku deal more damage.
Ableberries
The best Ableberry for Diamond is Sidekick. It boosts his powerful bump combo to greater heights.
Conclusion
Diamond can deal damage as well as support allies and is very versatile. However, supportive monsters are not really favored and his only damage (the Cross Laser) doesn't warrant him to be used a lot. People will rather use Daikoku (a drop monster) over Diamond just because Daikoku has a better bump combo.
First Empress
Dungeon Guide: http://strikeshot.net/event/spine-azure-wyrm
Recommended Form - Evolution
Evolution has a 16 Turn Command SS. Although it is not very powerful, it is enough to clear mobs and you can use it twice in a dungeon. Ascension has a Null instead of a Slayer but Null Block is not that popular.
Pros
The best part about Empress is her 16 Turn Command SS. You can use it twice in a dungeon and it is very good at clearing mobs. She is also a Demon Slayer M. Since there are a lot of Demon mobs like Zombies and Gunmen, her normal attacks will be more than enough to clear them.
Cons
With her abilities and SS very good, her bump combo is very lackluster. It is only a Spread Shot XL3. It is not even a Spread Piercer so she can hit more enemies.
Dungeons
The main use for First Empress is Avalon. She is one of the best max luck monster for it. Her Command SS can help move allies into pinches. Her Demon Slayer M also slays the Diablo and Legion.
You can also bring her into Izanagi: Zero since her Command SS can clear mobs. For Extremes, she is good against Ghoulie, Typhon, Wyatt Warp and Mica.
Picks for Her Dungeon
The main strategy for her dungeon is to clear the mobs, especially the Knights. Monsters with high damage like Marici and Gulliver will be very good.
First Empress is a Demon Slayer M so do not bring monsters like Queen Butterflight and Belpheghor.
The best farmable pick is either Siren with her Flight/NW or Bootstrap Jack with his Dragon Slayer M.
Conclusion
First Empress is a powerful pick for Avalon. Her abilities works well in the dungeon and her Command SS can be used twice. For people who don't have a Yamato Takeru max luck, she is the best chance of a Avalon ML right now.
Gilles de Rais
Dungeon Guide: http://strikeshot.net/event/hero-who-fell-darkness
Recommended Form - Evolution
The difference between forms is the slayers. Evolution is Vivolith and Ascension is Etherean. Evolution gets recommended because it works better in the dungeons he slays in Titanium and Gargoyle unlike Ascension which will be Visceron and Fenrir. Also, Titanium and Gargoyle are very good monsters to max luck as well.
Pros
His strength lies within his Slayer. It is also in his base ability, so his Vertical Laser deals x2 more damage to Vivolith monsters.
Cons
The biggest weakness for him is that he is a Power-type. He is super slow and can hardly move around for damage. Also, there are not a lot of Vivolith monsters to make his Slayer effective.
Dungeons
Like stated above, he is very strong against monsters who are Vivoliths. In this case, they are Titanium and Gargoyle. Titanium doesn't have any null-able hazards and Gargoyle is mainly Gravity Barriers so his gauge of NGB works very well.
Picks for His Dungeon
The main hazards are Gravity Barriers and Magic Circles. The only monster in NA that can null both is Jekyll and Hyde. In terms of damage, you will bring Arthur. There are Healing Walls which you need to use while attacking so a Speed Up monster in Tempest or Sinbad will be essential.
In terms of farmables, Tiger I X and Chainbound Jack will be the best. Tiger can proc your allies' bumps and Chainbound Jack is good for damage.
Conclusion
Gilles the Rais is one of the less favored farmables in the game. The main reason is that his dungeon is not easy to farm and him as a monster is not worth the effort.
