[Top 5 Wednesdays] Monster Strike Grand Prix Power Rankings!

This weekend is XFLAG Park, Monster Strike developer's annual convention!

Of course being a place of lots of Monster Strike goodness, one of the main events is the Monster Strike Grand Prix! Prize money and pride on the line for 16 teams going at it!

Us viewers are able to predict on who will be number 1! There is a mission log in the JP version where you can predict your team. If your team gets #1, you will receive 50 orbs! If they are 2nd you will get 10 orbs and 5 orbs if they are in the top 4.

So here are the Power Rankings for the tournament!

#5 - モンスト外の人

#5 is going to be the dark horse team. They do have a surprisingly tough road since their first round match is going to be the team who qualified the day of. They are the #2 team of the region who had last year's winner. Also it is not like they lost to the #1 team badly.

#4 - 今池壁ドンズ

#4 team is coming from the same quad as the #5 team. They had pretty good times all around but the biggest surprise is their Izanami clear speed. Most of the top teams break the 5min wall but their time was 6:56. Izanami as well as Yamato Takeru will be in the tournament so they have to be as polished on them as they are on the Monster Stadium stages.

#3 - MONST-PLANET

Although their Izanami clear time was worst than #4 team, they get the #3 spot due to experience. They came to the Grand Prix in January but  eventually lost in the first round. However, their bracket is a little bit easier and can make the top 4 due to a softer road.

#2 - ひっぱりハンティング

#2 spot is the #1 team in the region for last Grand Prix' winners. They have been shown as a team with actual teamwork, being in the same tennis club. Along with fast times in all areas and teamwork, they are going to make waves.

#1 - bulldozer

By far, bulldozer is considered the #1 team. They are a team who have some of the most famous and skilled players in the game. The first person is S-shima who people know from all the M4 challenges. The second is Arisuu who is a technician in striking. The other two are no slouches either with Orangina having a full page (30 monsters) with S++ berries and max luck bakuzetsu monsters for Dawawawa as well.

How Was It?

There are also vods of the qualifiers for those interested on how they play to make the best predictions. Go to the Result and scroll to the bottom of each tab for the vods on niconico

Of course these are power rankings and the dungeons they used for the qualifiers will be different in the main tournament. Yamato Takeru and 2 new Stadium stages are in the mix and there is no scouting report on how the teams are doing in them.
