[JP] Journeys to the West First Impressions

Well the new event that starts tomorrow in JP is going to be out! They also gave us the stats and abilities for the 3 five star hatcher monsters. This will be my first impressions on the new monsters.

Future Wood Impossible Star?
There is a lot of speculation since it is almost time for the next wood impossible dungeon. MS is notorious making the latest monsters be very viable. The ascend version is just unique enough that it might be the next possible op monster for the next wood impossible dungeon. Of course it may be false, but it may be true too.

Evolve for Firepower
If you want firepower, evolve is the way to go. He is the first fire 34k one way laser monster. His SS also deals over 1 million on weak spot and it helps in positioning for his bump combo. You can also purposely miss his gauge of Null Gravity Barrier to position him as well.

Pretty Much Like Othello
Evolve is just like Othello. Same abilities but with a different SS and bump. Bajie's SS is a little better than Othello's since nothing will affect his speed up and power up SS. No GB, DW, or mines will affect him. Check that post on Othello for Bajie's potential use

Ascend Doesn't Have Uses
Only a slayer for his ability and it is not really a popular slayer either. Either way, no other abilities to work for demon mencer dungeons like Tengu or Vanilla. He does have a nice bump combo set for farming but there are better non-hatcher options.

Ascend is Perfect for Tsukuyomi
Pierce, Null Gravity Barrier, acceptable ATK means he is perfect for Tsukuyomi. Also his gauge will remove debuffs from his allies which that dungeon is chalk full of. Not just ability locks, it can recover allies with poison and attack decrease. Of course he can't recover himself but better to have one less debuff ally.

Chiyo the Better Dark Slayer
Xuanzang is the second dark slayer in the game (well, second 5-6* dark slayer). However, he doesn't have any null ability to be useful in dungeons. Therefore Chiyo is the better dark slayer since she has a NGB along with her dark slayer. However, Chiyo does require ascension and Xuanzang only needs evolution. Difficulty wise, Chiyo is harder, but she is better.

That is my first impressions for the 5*. Maybe I'll do another post once they actually come out for a few weeks
